Do you remember the “think different” ad? Yet, contrary to Apple’s destruction of all meaning, being a minority does not always make you the best, and enjoying a unity and agreement does not always make you the worst. As Bill Gates notes, “fifty years ago, Antoine de Saint-Exupery said that the best things people have made are all things that bring people together” (See Gates, The Road Ahead 10: Internet will be a road to many places) Unfortunately, Apple is not an enemy of Microsoft, it is an enemy of common sense.
